    Dave

yea those were good years going up on 100's slipstreaming all the way, felt like a race except top speed was only approx 11okph, even managed to take a 12' x 9' tent on the 100's complete with fold out chairs and gas cookers, It was Murray on the Kawi 100 and approx 6 others all on 100s
So no Dave on the Rg50 this year - a wedding eh still I might just see you at the Lemming Run

right.. THIS time I'll try and ride down with you clowns

riding solo really isn't as much fun. Most enjoyable part of my ride down last year was catching up with groups of bikes going down west of Taupo and tagging along.

mental note to self: only take 1/2 the stuff you did last year... if taking the kitchen sink, sell the gixxer and buy a damn goldwing!

    Rumour sorted

This year's Kiwi will NOT be the last. There are no plans to discontinue this rally. So say the Ruapehu Motorcycle Club.
ACC - It's where the Enron accountants all went.

    Info?

This sounds like heaps of fun, although I'd only go for the ride, and the social side. I don't to "burn-outs", I can't "hill climb" very well, "best bike" doesn't interest me, I haven't modified mine in any way yet, etc...

Anyone from Wellington, or surrounding areas going? I might be interested in a group ride up from here, but I need to organise, nay, tell work when I'm off :P So, let me know who's keen.

    VTwin? You up for it?

PS: Where do you store "a tent, warm clothing, hat, plate, knife, fork, spoon and a mug" on a sports bike? :P
