What Model FZR do you have mate? 3EN1 or 3EN2? Probably makes no difference, but best to check.

I've found a fuel tap repair kit for a 3EN2

I've looked at some pictures and I think yours is the 3EN2, but probably a good idea to check frame or engine numbers. They usually display the model number on the frame.

If you are having fuel probs, are you sure its the fuel tap ? FZR400s have a fuel pump as well, and I think the fuel don't flow until you have manifold vacuum. And there is a fuel filter prone to blocking under the tank. Just that Ive never seen a fuel tap fail. Even if they block, they are easy to unblock.

It's not the innards that are the problem with the tap, the handle for the tap itself snapped off a couple of weeks back while trying to change to on from reserve. Not sure which it' was set to when it came off.

Is it remote from the tank and living between the fairing and the thing?

Atomic bike wreckers up in Barrys Point Rd on Aklds North Shore had a 400 FZR they were wrecking. Give Spencer a ring.

Haven't had a close look, but it's a fair way down from the tank so I'm assuming it's remote from the tank. Just gave atomic a call and they don't have one.
