    I have a question?

I haven't been to Glenorchy since I was knee high to a grass hoper if not slightly shorter... back then the road wasn't sealed....

    Is it sealed now?

all 50km of it, bloody awesome road... just be cearfull were the rd narrows 1/3 of the way into the ride.
The last 2 odd kms are on a hard packed gravel rd, then a hard right up the drive. Gravels mint tho I still sit at 100k on it.
    cheers DD

You're right Dangerous. I'm actually surprised they both threads haven't been moved to PD seeing how far off topic they have become.

    Roll on Friday.

Bloody hell....I hope this thread isn't some sort of indication of the drivel we can expect to hear at the weekend!

So, are we meeting at Cromwell at 2pm?

Any idea when the Chch folk are expecting to be in Omarama?

Sorry to go off topic....back to the blather!

Cool thanx for that... gravel roads don't bother me, as long as if I know they are there and I don't hit it at 100k and then go WTF

If we leave at 9:00 I would add 1/2 an hour to that - ~300km Rolleston to Omarama, fuel stop for the pretenders at Geraldine/Fairlie...
