not a 'big' rally as in number of people, but one of the best rally sites as far as I am concerned. Numbers did seem to be down on last year, but still had a fab time! the turkey drumsticks were just as good this year as last
Had a ball meeting a few new faces (lil byte, Nighthawk and free2b), even got up and danced for a bit... wasn't that much rain, just a bit of a drizzle most of the late arvo. Quite a change from when we arrived in the brilliant HOT sunshine, at least we got to set up in the dry and sit and watch all the entertainment... including that idiot on the HD loose it big time!
Still an excellant weekend, great ride and good company!
See you all in 2 weeks![]()

yank tank at Glenorchy 2006 rally
Looking forward to the WS, was looking at some pic's from 2006 one..
Check them out West Coast Touring Club
Vincent & March Hare for me too, already entered. Vincent 2005 = 38 degrees, sittin in the river with my 6 pack. March Hare 2006 (Waimate showgrounds this year) was the best Kiwi Rally I'd ever been to, the 20th & I cannot believe I'd never been before. It wasn't the biggest I'd been to BUT food variety, quality entertainment and excellent fire made the weekend. Hope they replicate it!
