Belated hello from Chisanga

Hi James,
How are you enjoying the VTR?

I have the same bike as you which I have only had for 3 days after having to wait for ages for it to arrive.I am new to motorcycling to, and like you where inspired by the DVD Long Way Round and other similiar storys.

I have clocked up 590km since it arrived on Fri evening and find it easy to ride, it will need its first oil change in no time.I am lucky because we do not have the amount of traffic down here that you have to contend with.

I am loving the VTR so far but have only done 100km on mine due to the dodgy Auckland weather.

Hope you have a great time on your bike, I bet there is some magic scenery around there to look at.

I thought I had done a few K's on my old VTR after I got it - once the 6F came along, with the new Bandit... 1400K in 2 weeks.. couldnt believe it

Sort of shows what getting the Full drives you to do, especially with a new ride that was saved up for, right from the start

The VTR was the best possible intro to this, its a give & take thing, but will allow more give, so long as theres not too much take
