To my brother.
To my brother.
They shall not grow old as we that are left grow old.
Age shall not weary them nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the evening,
we will remember them
Jo - A good mate for over 33 years... passed away 2 years ago..
I was with her when she died.
Danny - Struggled with Adrenolukrodysphrophy (sp) and passed away in his sleep. A brave young man. (see movie 'Lorenzo's Oil')
Jason (Jas man) - Passed away in his mum's arms. Another young man who struggled with what life throu at him. On his 21st as I sat on my bike I held him in my arms and revved the bike. He laughed and had the biggest smile on his face. It made his day......
All my grandparents.
Uncle's, Aunt and cousin.
My dad whom I never really got to know.
Sam, Bruce (oldfart), Bruce (Loosebruce), Daryl (Dss3) and Bruce (uncleB)
Rest in peace.
My Dad who passed away just when I entered the teenage years ... and Brodie, my grandson, who died at age 4 months (cot death). Would have loved a few more years with both of them.
Grow older but never grow up
My beautiful, pure white with bright blue eyes cat, Salty. thank you for being my best childhood friend & for your total unconditional love!!I still miss you.. & all of my grandparents.

Wow, reading some of these makes me realise just how good I've had it, not really having anyone close to me pass away, or being too young to remember. On the other hand it gives me a glimpse of what the future does hold.
