the route we did (or was supposed to do)
was through peak, and up 16 - right onto westcost road which leads onto woodcocks and then you end up in workworth. (tho me my bro and another dude ended up in wellsford while the other 3 in walkworth)
and then back down the way we came, but at kaukapakapa we turn towards dairy flat, andthen up waitoki - (opposite that gull station) and did that road to silverdale.
    n yeh.
that was 200 Ks of riding from the shell westgate, and back to glendfield.

    Cool

The road to Wellsford is a nice ride...... just keep the pace down as the nice officer is wandering up and down that stretch of road......... and its a long walk home.

I reckon we go upto mangawai.

    I do it most weekends.

    Route:

Start westgate, head up the 16.
    Take old north road,
Onto peak road, then back onto the 16 towards Kauakapa (or however u say it)
Carry on the 16 to wellsford (the last 15km before wellsford are sooo good)
Then cruise up SH1, and turn off for mangawai after a few kms
Then there is 18km of mint roads to mangawai, stop for beer and lunch?

Cruise back down SH1, and perhaps stop at puhoi? or take same route back?

    What do yas reckon?

Yeah, it has now been secured and unfortunately with it goes my defense if I happen to get pulled over for speeding.

will see, may go for a 'solo' ride to get used to the new beast. But may rock up to meet you all and say hi
