EVERYBODY knows that was the story when speed cameras first came out - because the cop had to get out of the car and write out a ticket because bikes did not have a front number-plate to photograph it meant the rider got an I.O.N. and hence demerits, the law was changed (believe it or not) because of pressure from the bike fraternity.

    It must be alzheimers then, but they say long term memory gets affected last. Mind you, I wasn't riding then either.
    No wonder they changed the law, the sight of some fat-arsed camera operator trying to extricate himself from his seat to stop a speeding biker would be something to see.

    You would have missed that sight Lou, they never had to stop you, just get your reg and post the ticket but because it was a hand written ticket you got the demerits that went with that speed
