I have one or two earler ones lying around Me 03 1700 -me 19 all use the KZ3 crankcases

or if you are stuck I can pick one of trade me here ,

give me the 3 middles letters /numbers as the crankcases did change a little , then a big change with the intake direct into crankcase ( I think about 96/98 ish) cant remember off top of head

    crankcase numbers

yea some of the web sites ive been on have said anything from an 92 to 01 will fit but im not sure how good that info is.
anyway the clutch side half (right i think) has KZ3 T.I.C stamped on it and the fly wheel side (L) has MF03F stamped on it.
if you can help that would be great this bikes starting to do my head in a little

P.S do you have a web site yet it would be great to have somewhere specializing in cr's that i can go to direct istead of dealing with people who don't know much about the bike.

    cheers

Hi scott no web site yet ,,yet Just Pm me , , Yup Kz3 is the model it was first used on
So any of these models would fit , THOUGH they changed the swingarm bolt dia from 15 to 17mm and the bushes from the earlier ones will not fit a later swing arm bolt
I machine my own bushes up as u cant buy them separate .

I can send you over some cases if you want , though if its urgent surely u must be able to get in NZ ??

I will take some photos of what I have , and you can go from there

    Stephen

Ps have just checked have a good set of Me03 17 ( 1992/3 ish )

Check around some of your local Kart racing clubs, a lot of CR250s end up in Shifta Karts & Grass Karts.
