hope no-one's going up to london for xmas - heathrow's effectively closed due freezing fog - movements down to 28/hr instead of 60-odd. 70-100m viz on the ground at best. gatwick is already at capacity. luton taking ALL domestic (no connecting BA flights out of heathrow). no sign of it lifting for at least 2 days!

ferries also running late due fog - reports of ireland-wales ferry trips running 10 hours late!
