    Mack the Knife's surgery update

Hi just thought I would post an update on Mike's shoulder.

I can't remember who I have told, so apologies if I haven't told you in person and apologies if I have.

Mike has had another surgery on his shoulder Wednesday (today or yesterday depending on whether you have been to sleep yet).

It turned out that the last plate had snapped and the ends were lying on top of each other. So they have taken that one out and replaced it with a new one. So it was go straight to hospital, do not pass go and do not collect $200.00!

He is doing quite well, although he had some difficulty with breathing to start. I couldn't convince him to let me get a vodem at present so he will be offline for a few days. It's not all bad though, he's morphined up to the eyeballs and very cute as he drifts in and out of his myriad of present realities. I can't promise he will make a huge amount of sense but it will be a very entertaining visit for you if you are in the vinicinity (sp?).
He's in Auckland ward 75 room 9 (Paul is just down the corridor) if anyone is interested in visiting:-) He would love to see you.

If we don't manage to catch up in the flesh before Christmas then we look forward to catching up with y'all in the new year. Take care and enjoy your holidays, don't let those crazy cagers catch you unawares. All the best from both of us.
    xx

Sorry to hear that. He's been waiting for ages for his collarbone to heal and now more problems!
I hope he recovers quick from the surgery and that this plate does the job properly.

Bwahahaha!! Mack snapped his plate! Jaebus Mack you're a bloody wrecker ow. All that 'heavy' lifting *tui* that you've been doing. Not to worry at least you're having a far less stressful time at the moment than the rest of us...

No doubt you've got more work cut out for you now H.T. - that boy's a bit of a terror! Don't stress too much he'll be fine.

Could someone please PM me with Mack's 'other' name? I'm imagining waltzing up to the ward clerk and asking to see my good friend Mack the Knife...

Hahahaha just hunt out his room.......

If questioned..... say you are there to see all the bikers...

    They will know which rooms......

Paul's (motobob) room 4 - on the right as you enter the ward.
Mack's room 9 - must be on the left just past Paul's.

    Hi all

Thanks for your messages of support and love. I will pass them on to him in the morning :-)
Thanks to the busas and devil who braved the weather on their trusty steeds to visit on Thursday evening...we both appreciate your care xx
I'm not sure if he will get eviction orders on Friday or not. There have been a few complications, however he is a tough old bugger hehe and the ward is being closed for Christmas, so it's all looking positive!
However, I will post to let you know that he is out as soon as he comes home, if nothing is on the thread then he still in.

Maha's we are hoping to be up your way around Christmas so will try and catch up if you are in town :-)
    cheers
    Kim

    Hey Mack!

All the best for a full and speedy recovery mate!
Seeing as I spent five days in Wanganui hospital from Boxing Day on....I fully understand what a shit time of year it is to be stuck there!

    Hey all
Mike's escaped from hospital and hiding at home. Just thought I would let you know in case you felt the urge to brave the traffic and go and see him.

    Take care
