Do I have to be there at 8.30am... its rather early for me.
Double checking the safety gear at the mo, but nylon motocross trou are ok as are kevlar trou and heavy worsted (woolen) trousers, so I can't see cordura being a problem.

Whatever time you can get there is ok, but closer to 8.30am the better.

Cor! Is it OK if Vicki knits or crochets me a helmet as well for that genuine 1960's look? Bearing in mind safety I will get her to use a double cable stitch of course...

So - provided she passes the home mech check tonight (ie not eating it's lash caps) AND I can squeeze into me leathers (burp) I reckon I might rock on up for the laugh of it. Geeze, I'll even fit the patented oil breather catch tank for the real road racer look but the wide cowboy bars are staying!

Bit rough paying the 'over 600cc' entry for an under 250cc performance but I'm up for it I reckons.... Probably have to be headed away around 2pm though....

Mooch - you going over mate? Might meet you at Pauatahanui?
Pauatahanui Sounds good, Jim2 has lent me a back protector , hopefully it will fit between christmas season pie eating and the little room left in my leathers.

Etal, are you going ? We could met you as well.

I'm gonna come down especially to check this bike out. If its anything like Tahana Parkers Hyosung it will be plenty fast enough.

It wouldn't be the first GN to enter and you're more than welcome to have a go at it.

LBTW and I will be endevouring to leave Rimutex (TM) at 7:50am for marshall duty. Another race over the hill Deano? Maybe will have to come up with another excuse for being slow in your car other than 'clearing hub caps off the road'

I have not heard back from Mooch yet - so unless I hear otherwise will stick with Plan A and meet you at 0700hrs. I assume you might travel via Greys Rd/Paekakariki Hill Road so I will wait on that side of Pauatahanui roundabout for you (and thus will also remain visible to any low flying 748's coming from Whitby). If we miss each other then I will be stopping at Caltex Rimutuka for a top up so if all else fails no doubt our paths will cross somewhere along the way.

Sweet - will do - off to bed for some zzzzzz. Bikes all ready, oils fresh, tyres pumped, larger main jet fitted (phoar - tuned - be good for a couple more klicks i reckon), fresh gas in the tank and generally checked over... Leathers are 'tight' (squeak) but I cannot see anything I've overlooked???? Of course - not seeing things is HOW you overlook things but you get my drift
