Alternatives could be Fidels in Upper Cuba St or there might even be something in Brooklyn or there are 3 cafes in Lyall Bay as well (like Dafe suggested earlier). I guess whoever is leading can make the decision.

Anyway it's a lovely morning in Newtown
Will have some gathering points: Just around in Evans Bay, then Shelley Bay and Scotching Bay, and sound out where people would like to go to, Lyall Bay and Brooklyn and Upper Cuba St.

    Heads Up and Enjoy All

I think it would be easier for everyone if I met you at Kaiwharawhara as well, it looks like I'm the only "townie" coming and Oriental Bay will be busy today.

    See y'all soon!

that looked like total FUN!! Yesterday *Chrissy Day* We headed over the Takas and it was a beautiful ride until we got to the Haywards! Fun though and since today is so beautiful - after we see family we are heading over to Riversdale for a cruise.

    Have a wonderful day all
