    250 ride 31st December 2006

For the last 250 themed ride for 2006 we're planning a 300km round trip. Because of the distance we recommend that all attending riders be comfortable travelling at 100kph on the open road.

Maverick would normally be doing all the organising but he will be off having Christmas in Sydney so you just have to put up with me.

Route will be divulged on the day - meeting point details will be sent by PM to everyone who signs up 2 days before the run....I cannot be arsed dealing with people signing up on the morning or having to spend 30minutes answering PMs on the morning of the ride (when I should be putting fuel in the tank of my bike!).

The ride will be an earlyish one as we appreciate that people will have some serious piss ups to attend that evening. we will therefore try to get back to populated areas at a decent hour.

Not heading to Coro I hope, my bike can go 100 (just) but I don't fancy lane splitting and/or queuing on SH2!

Hope to make it this time. Happy Christmas everybody.

Can you give me a rough idea of route ?
I live in Raglan and could join you in Hamilton if you're passing through.

Depending wich way you're headed I might join you. I'll be in Auckland that weekend and may be heading home on the 31st. Would be keen to join for a while if you don't mind a big bike joining in for a cozy cruise.

Can't guarantee the speed, so I'll flag this ride as well...

Hope those that go have a good safe haul, and will have to catch the next spin in the shiny new year!

I dont mind helping out... and since I'm slow, I can take tail-end
It's been a rough day. I got up this morning, put on a shirt and a button fell off.
As I ran out the door, I picked up my briefcase, and the handle came off.
Now I'm afraid to go to the bathroom.

Could spend some one-on-one time with whoever is interested in what I have to say
Anyone interested in joining the ride on the back of mine, is more than welcome

Ummm... perhaps I should expand on my speed comment...

Daisy has a cold, and while Doctor Donor is doing all he can, he can't guarantee that he will have his patient cured in time.

I'll register in optimism, but won't promise to be there at the mo...
