    Hey guys (and gals)

Just wanted to wish you all well for the ride and the new year. Wish I was coming along but it's probably a bit too much for me at this stage of my newbieness. However I hope to see you all in the New Year on a 250 ride.

    Have fun and take care

Its a good opportunity to take your time, ride your own ride, and log some K's - if you feel its a little too much, you can always decide to head home at the point that suits you I have done that before and there is absolutely no shame in doing so
I used to be indecisive, but now I'm not so sure...

    Wot he said.

If you've already braved twilight road then you're already a veteran!

I'll leave it up to you - no pressure.

Give me a call or PM if you need details.
In space, no one can smell your fart.

If I rode depending on the weather, I'd never do any miles.

Throw ya wet weathers on, and if need be, hit the warehouse and get some cheap yet illuminating PVC gear, and come along.

It's only water! Ask McJim or Mav about my first 250 ride... take a bit to beat that for precipitation and cloud farts!

Maverick would normally be doing all the organising but he will be off having Christmas in Sydney so you just have to put up with me.

Route will be divulged on the day - meeting point details will be sent by PM to everyone who signs up 2 days before the run....I cannot be arsed dealing with people signing up on the morning or having to spend 30minutes answering PMs on the morning of the ride (when I should be putting fuel in the tank of my bike!).

The ride will be an earlyish one as we appreciate that people will have some serious piss ups to attend that evening. we will therefore try to get back to populated areas at a decent hour.

    Calendar Link here:

    I will meet the pack..

Can you Pm the ride details please..So I can try to meet up..

    Crazy Steve..

Gutted... I'm on call tonight, so hopefully the phone stays quiet and I won't be hauling my arse out of bed in the wee small hours.

I don't come off call until 0800 - so I'll be in the carpark at work at 0759 to drop the company van off, waiting for the other fella to come in, then fanging home in my cage, getting my giggly gears on, and heading off to meet with a few other KBers for a convoy to the meeting point - got to get some shit talking time in, although I usually more than fill my quota each day!

Worst case scenario, if I get a few call outs tonight (each one can last an hour and a half) I might be a bit on the tired side tomorrow, so might miss the ride...

Hoping for a REAL slow night... (no matter HOW good the O/T rates are...)

in order to appreciate a good steak, you should eat the occasional greasy hamburger.
