    With you on that one.

I'll be there - the bike seems to be fixed, thanks mostyl to Erik's hard work, although we never managed to completely nail down what the problem was - it just seems to be working now.....

50+ people? That's going to test the organisational skills of Mav and McJim.

    Arse!

Just got back from a call out, woman at the hospital reckons it's going to be a quiet night.

    Bloody hope she is right!

To those travelling distance to join in tomorrow, ride safe, keep the rubber on the road, and look forward to seeing everyone there!

Monto como una pequeña muchacha en una bici con las ruedas del entrenamiento. ¡Pero por lo menos monto, eso soy la cosa principal!

This little biker has a secret love...
    Don't ride Cagers!
This little biker will miss a 250 meet...
    Avoid the Popos!
This little biker is having a little cry...
    Oh bugger it!
This little biker hopes you have a good ride!

Gosh a rootie, darn it to heck and fiddlesticks and Sugar Honey Ice Tea

I missed the last twofiddy ride of this year and all Guess I'll have to make up for in the new year by doing some more mad pootling and thrashing my poor little ol'Hornet around!

I'll be on Waiheke on a family outing ... with no bike ...

Have a safe ride you guys! McJim is going to have his hands full today with all his usual Squadron mess buddies off the roster! (Oh, wait...his life will be easier! )

And Donor will probably singing "Daisy, Daisy, give me your answer do..."
And Fub@r will be blinding the flock with his crepescular lighting effects...
And TDLV8 will be giving Donor Heart Attacks with his backfiring....
And McJim will be having a Jim Bean at the end of all of this...
And starting sentences with "And" is to be frowned on...
And gijoe1313 will never start making sense...
And I better leave it at that...
And Apologies to all those I haven't commented on...next time!

heaps went out... one came back early...

Me... Went to meeting point, had the usual chats etc. Figured I didn't need to check pressures, as I had done so just a couple of days ago. We left, after being split into 3 groups.

Just heading out to Whitford, on the first overtaking lane from Howick, I go over the bridge, up the right hander, and overtake a bike and car in one swoop. Tip the bike into the fast left hander at xxx k... and the bike went all over the show.

Took it easy to Whitford, unsure of what was going on, and feeling the bike to see if I could figure out. At Whitford, told the fast group TEC to carry on, as I had felt the rear, and it was really soft. Checked pressure at Whitford, it was a little over 100 kpa, when normally it should be 275. No wonder it handled badly Pumped it back up to 275.

Continued on to Clevedon, wanting to see if it was random, or a problem. Caught up with the medium group, informed their TEC so he knew. Shortly outside Clevedon there was a shiteload of cow shit right across the road (and it had been raining for a while). Tip toed through, but overtaking a car down the next straight, either there was shit on the tyre, smooth tar, or the soft rear, and I lost all traction, with the rear going left and right on me.

Mind was all over the place, nothing felt right, so I packed it in, came home, found myself losing more air, but home safe.

I hope the weather gets better for them, it was raining a fair bit...
