I'm not part of the Gell generation and would don't mind "helmet hair".It looks a lot better than the birds nest I usually got after a rough night in the sack. Besides, as you get a bit older the helmet will stop your hair from blowing away in the breeze.

There's about 6 inches between my helmet and my hair when soft but that goes up to nine when erect......oh, sorry, wrong helmet.....and wrong hair.

Yours is an easy fix though.
1 10c scrunchy + tuck it in your jacket = no tangles.
2 10c scruncies one at each end of your hair = no tangles.

Gel, definitely the way to go. I find liberal applications in the correct location prior to helmet use followed by a general roughing up following helmet removal works well.

If in doubt, ask Postie. His hair never moves.

My signature really sums it up nicely though...

Don't care how my hair looks, but since I satrted riding I've refused to wear product so I won't mess up the inside of my helmet

Shave your head mate, problem gone!
Nail your colours to the mast that all may look upon them and know who you are.
