Good form MR! mate, youy'ev well and truly beaten me to the punch now. I'm dissapointed to hear the gixxer is track bound now although I'm not surprised given how hard you'll be pushing it on the track. Good on you for getting out and about with it beyond Pukekohe too. very impressive.

So... whats it gonna be on the road now then? Am I gonna have to get my lazy butt on the track to pace myself off you am I?

You can still have a battle with me at a track day CK

Or if you wanted, you could just do the R5 of Vic Club on your GIXXER. No shit, it's not as difficult as it initially seems. PM me if you wana find out more.

Nah, thought I'd just take them round for the ride. BTW blu - you did all the right stuff to that bike. I love it.

    Good work MR.

Just remember falling is part of the game. Looks like you're doing it right to only walk away with minor damage. Not to mention getting the debut's on each track are being taken care of early.

So when are we going to see you down here at Ruapuna?

Not for a wee while but that is only becuase of the lack of funds. I am planning to do all of Vic club rounds for this year, do Wanganui during december and Paeroa next year. I also want to be racing for points next year in either AMCC club races or Vic club races or both (funds dependant).

I am not sure about anything ATM but I'll see as I go along.

Thanx again for the support guys!

Good on ya MR, it was good to meet you on Saturday and see you out there doing your thing on the track. You've certainly been bitten by the bug and I know exactly what that feels like... it's amazing how much it consumes you once it's under your skin.

You might have to check on your eligibility to race at Wanga's and Paeroa... I'm not 100% sure but I "think" you might have to have competed in 6 or more club events before you can enter, but one of the more senior riders on here should be able to put you right. Either way, good luck with it all, and hopefully I'll be able to get out there with you in the near future.

    Cheers

Far out! Look at all the posts i had to get thru to get here! But MR what a wicked report dude! Sounds like u really did learn heaps and are bound to have come out all the more skilled! Aint race days just soo fun!!
Also nice work to see you slapped that bitch of a front wheel you seem to have back in place! I also remember the hairpin and that patch was there when i was there man! and i went for a slide across it too - mostly just rear wheel power slide though but that was enough to nearly make me cry!

yeah, i reckon i better get out there soon or you'll have me beat hands down for track experience!

I need to get at least one more track day done at Puke before i go looking at racing. the track day will also make me get it vaguely race ready with bungs etc... and I'll just have to pray I don't bin it! ( I'll try and be a back of the pack nana and not loose my self control trying to get round people)
