Hey some of us younger people like the older stuff. I have heard stories of the time of the 80's but what are these 60's and 70's you speak of .

Don't mock, some of the most awesome rock music came out in the late 60's and early 70's, I was a kid then but still enjoyed some of the older music, in fact a lot of it is being reinvented today. So what are your preferences then, seeing as you obviously have an opinion?

Actually i don't have an opinion i like MOST forms of music everything but that pop stuff( i.e. over glamorised barbie dolls) and if it's rock (no matter what era) i'm in with a grin.

I quite like some tuneless pop But I do love a good bit of rock too! Anything that I can boogie down to really.

if we can play mp3 cds I can bring my entire collection, from the 60s through to the early 90s (about 900 songs). If not, I might just make up a few good cds..... I like to think I've pulled the best of each decade... I also have a lot of queen
Queiro voya todo Europa con mi moto.... pero no tengo suficiente tiempo o dinero.....

I would count on being able to play mp3's, So I'm just making up some normal cd's for the purpose, they need to be good dance tunes tho, cos easy listening will probably send us all to sleep after a hard days riding!! LOL, That's actually my main motive, ie staying awake and not getting too drunk, I never function well with a hangover!!

    bring it on PT

    Wink me too..!

Same as Posh tourer- I've got heaps of music in mp3 (couldn't bring all my CDs from Blighty!) but reckon I could muster up some very funky dance mixes. The more choice the better, I'm reckoning- and looking forward to hearing what music other folk have, too!
If that's ok.... (good point about the easy listening; I'll omit the Neil Diamond)

this is sounding good, The more people that bring music the better, variety is the spice of life I reckon, actually a lot of the music I originally selected has now been canned after listening to it, if it doesn't make my feet twitch then it goes!!! It sounds like we have similar tastes anyway, probably due to the average age of us I spose. I don't however share your enthusiasm for Neil Diamond ( sorry) did ya know he was doing a new zealand tour sometime soon tho?

Although I do seem recall that Quasi is a bit of a James Last fan Maybe White Trash can bring the record (yes record) along.

    Blah

    Aaaargh!

    I. Was. Joking. About. The. Neil. Diamond.

Yechhhhhh (makes noise very similar to cat attempting to spit up furball).

I will, however, bring a wide range of stuff and I guess we can take it from there; I won't take offence if anyone hates my stuff (although they WON'T) but anything that gets your feet twitching is fiiiine by me!
    Looking forward to this!

    Jaz

    How much do you want?

I cant fill up an entire CD but I can throw all my CCR on a CD along with a few other bits and give it to you at the rally if you want.....

There will certainly be some CCR on the compilations I make up....
