    Anzac day the last few years we have won the raffle at the RSA for a bottle of Mount Gay rum, shame the lid promptly fell on the ground and was stood on, had to finish it there and then

    when I was a nipper of 16, I drank rum, too much and awoke one morning naked surrounded by newspaper, apparently I had had to have my stomach pumped due to excessive alcohol intake anyway, the smell of rum still makes me feel sick to this day, how bad is that, I drink only in moderation these days, I hate hangovers, gin squash and lemonade or beer is the safest for me.

    Donno never had a hang over in my life, and that was even in the days of drinking 1 litre of rum in a nite

    Beer safe since when . Us engineers do pretty well in that department i think . Although i was hooked on rum for a bit, but then my tastes got quite expensive. But i go with the motto : if it tastes good drink it, if it doesn't start praying you don't loose the drinking game.
