Do you still have that classic bike?? The red one with the brass discs???

    See you all soon
The Mk1 LeMans? Yeah mate, to be sold over my still warm corpse.
Hey, with the spits of rain I turned back, I just got a set of Diablo Corsa's put on the new bike with no kays on them and chickened out. I will scrub then in the dry methinks. Sorry to dick you around and hope you guys enjoy the evening as it has stopped raining now and was probably only limited to out west where I am

That bike is properly beautiful hope to see it someday, whenever, glad you have no intention of selling.

Was it wet out west?? Cos I saw the biggest yellowest moon and lots of stars throughout the night. It was easily one of the best rides I've been on, if not the best.

Five of us were supposed to meet but one of us got called away by personal matters.

I arrived late as usual to find three beautiful bikes waiting for me, all brand new and as shiny as the day they were assembled. A 2006 Hayabusa, a 2006 Gixxer thou and a 2006 R6.

We took off down SH1 and turned off towards Coro onto SH2 and continued until we hit the Miranda turnoff. Reached SH2 again and went round the loop clockwise.

As for the ride…… a Hayabusa being thrown around like a 125GP bike, a R6 spitting blue flames into the night and making as much noise as a factory race bike and a gixxer thou being ridden exactly how it should be ridden.

No cops, possums, moments, gravel or anything untoward got in our way.
Deciding who the rider of the night was is quite hard.

Busaman – as you said you’ve been riding since you were a kid and it shows, full respect to anyone who can fling a busa around like that, I guess you'll need tyres soon though.

Puddy – Mate I’d thought you’d fallen asleep looking at your smooth riding style, but then I wondered why I was nearing red line in 5th and on the rare occasion 6th trying to keep you in sight.

RM125King – The fastest blind rider I’ve seen and that bike – that noise – those flames…. I guess all those 1:05 laps around Puke came in handy

THANKS TO ALL YOU GUYS FOR TURNING UP. WHAT A RIDE

I really enjoyed my last group ride. The bike’s off the Mt Edens next week…… I think I’m going to go cry now, can’t bear giving it up…

Crapola! I think my little ol'Hornet would have been left sweeping up the bits of rubber left behind by you lot if I managed to attend ... you would have all been home and hosed by the time I pootled up to the gas pumps!

Sounds like it was one of those awesome rides where you had to be there ... glad to hear all made it without any hairy moments I trust! Ah well, all good things take time and I'm a patient soul!

yea sorry JSG missed the ride with you. But maybe later on you can try out the 900 Hornet that you loved so much.

I am at Rotovagus with the 2 birds. getting there the long way around of course. and tomorrow will be cris crossing the NI to stay at the Skotel tomorrow night.

GiJoe, you can come ride with me next time. But I have ran away from JSG around the loop in the past... well depends on which bike I am on.

Hahaha, I heard of some bikers who did Kopu to Kopu in one hour forty minutes, minus any time spent at stops and made it from Kopu back via Kaiaua to Botany Downs in well under an hour. So perhaps a two fifty may not have suited the pace those riders rode at.

But then I woke up and saw I had been dreaming..... hmm, have to go to work soon, holidays over.

Give us some notice ... wont be a next time given the circumstances, but you know what I mean.

Hmm.. two birds to play with huh? Every red-blooded blokes fantasy.

As for running away from me....well ....I wasn't red lining it in 5th and getting part way there in 6th back then was I....

Who cares in the end mate - as long as we're having fun and you with your two birds are ---->

Catch ya later - don't let the fat boy ruin the hornet - let him play with his fat girl.

went out thru some north-shore back roads last night with a couple of mates and had an absolute blast. Just as we were coming to an intersection after making some noise through the rural roads we were greeted by a patrol car that drove past slowly and checked us out... guess we pissed someone off, or is it wierd to see a small group of sportbikes out those ways at 10.30pm

All I can say is that it was a totally different experience to any other riding i have done before, in some ways i felt faster as i couldnt get distracted by roadside objects as i was purely focussed on seeing where the road was going.

Apart from one of my retard friends wearing a dark tint visor it was a great time, if im more organised and have some spare cash i'll join you on your next one JSG, keep me informed!

p.s. also went for an afternoon blat out to piha and across scenic drive... sound familiar JSG?
