Good to see everyone chooses beer on taste these days,me too - but back in the days of continuous fermentation (do any still do it?) I bet the differences between begining and end would be quite marked, but the drinkers would defend a favorite beer to the end.To me the old Lion Red truely tasted like a tom cat pissed in it,but not these days....and my taste hasn't changed, but I still won't drink it.

Yeah well their targeting an eighteen year old audience so the adds don't have to be that flash.
I drink Waikato because I like it.I don't even remember seeing a Waikato add for a while. :spudwhat:
Double Brown is the cheapest crate at the local bottly and it isn't all that bad , quite refreshing in the summer

Southern beers seem to be better. MACS, Speights, Monteiths.
As long as its not DB, I'll drink it.
FINE. This is the word women use to end an argument when they are right and you need to shut up.
It's actually changed a lot from what it used to be like, when it was like fermented Waikato River water.Originally Posted by PuppetMaster

Do you not get the chainsaw ads? The first one a logger turned up early to the pub, no one else their, so he calls them with his chainsaw.Originally Posted by Jackrat
The second one, the pub owner goes out the back & jingles a crate of bottles, the lad chainsaw in their orders & then get them delivered when they arrive.
Some of the Waikato billboards are good, the one of the sink taps "H, C, W" on the top & something about winning Lotto. And the north end of Huntly usually has a good one too.

"Do not meddle in the affairs of cats, for they are subtle and will piss on your computer." Bruce Graham
I wouldnt usually drink any NZ beers unless there was no alternative. In that case it'd prob be heinekin. Dont mind a bit of the monteiths celtic red/radler/summer either, but only in emergencies.
Usually you'd find me in a bottle of Kronenbourg, oranjeboom, hoegaarden, bravara or crown lager.
...thats if im not drinking the usual vodka anyway...
Yes. I do realise this. Spiritually they are Southern beers....Originally Posted by firestormer
