I spose it was asking for trouble

New leathers, boots ,gloves, lid paint job and bike internals--I really shoulda prayed to the jandle gods.
Yup frosty had a good ol muppet moment at taupo today--leathers and paint job well scuffed.
    EEEJUT

well the story has changed a tadd. 2 bins in 2 days
    bloody hell frosty --
I was really doubting my ability as a rider ---both bins in the same set of corners.
But it turns out my issues with the front end were caused to a fair degree by having the WRONG FUCHING TYRE
I run racetec rs0 compound. by mistake my tyre guy had fitted--wait for it --a RS2 --the back tyre was nicely cooking up--the front --cold as ice after 6 laps of taupo ---basicly as good as new-no wear and no rippling up after 2 race meetings and a track day.
Still feel like a muppet --a very sore muppet I might add
Funny thing was The bike got pretty munted this time --wiped out all the controls and stuff-
MY FRIGGING HERO - Trumpy machined me up a new rearset and got all the busted bits off
Using my bestest Frosty charm I conned the food lady on the ferry into talking the skipper into letting me work on my bike on the ferry crossing.
Result being the ol gal will pass acrutineering tomorrow .
For the record --in the hold of a ferry working on a bike in cook straight with a hangover -Not good Not good at all

    Cool

But lets all think of his Pit crew (MadDuck) who has to put it all back together again...

Frosty - take it easy out there on the track...... well ok win, but do it carefully.

    sigh....

should have known the chances of you turning up on my doorstep unscathed would be nil.

I'll get the gargre ready. See if we can't save MadDuck et al a bit of work before the next round. Looks like there might not be too much sleep New Years mate.

    see ya tomorrow.

And stop falling off, I tell ya.
And I to my motorcycle parked like the soul of the junkyard. Restored, a bicycle fleshed with power, and tore off. Up Highway 106 continually drunk on the wind in my mouth. Wringing the handlebar for speed, wild to be wreckage forever.
