make sure you wave out when you're crossing the Taputapuatea Stream (aka Mother Brown's Creek) by the yacht club on Buffalo Beach Rd over the next week or so - we're in the 2 story place at the end of the service lane looking over the bridge from tomorrow. Santa is usually sitting on a pushbike or doing something silly on the deck there........ If anyone gets stuck/breaks down etc i'll have the ute and trailer there.

I love cooks beach and whitianga. I holidayed between the two spots for well over 25 years, and loved every second of it. I was reading a mag the other day that said the canal project finally went ahead, I bet the place is pretty full on these days.
