FOR SALE: 1974 Norton Commando Mk2A Interstate

This is one of the best original, genuine low milage Interstates in New Zealand. Manufactured in 1974 and first registered in Oklahoma in 1975. Bought new by a Dennis McAlister for US$1995. Imported into New Zealand by Belcher Motorcycles of Wellington in 1990 but never registered for the road. I purchased the bike in 1999 with 6000 miles and registered it for the road. The milage is now 14016 original miles. The following extras have been added over the years:

    - Hardened valves for unleaded fuel (P+M valves & guides)
    - 18" rear wheel with stainless steel spokes
    - Norman Hyde front fork brace
    - Mk3 isolastic suspension
    - Koni Dial-A-Ride rear shocks
    - Progressive fork springs
    - Altered gearing for higher cruising speed
    - Boyer electronic ignition
    - Original Norton workshop manual
    - Original Norton parts manual
    - Some specialist tools
    - Registered and Warrented
    - Personalised plate included CMNDO
    - Matching engine and frame numbers (318789)

Advertised elsewhere and have the right to withdraw.
