Young up and comer few years back, had some scraps with him when my 9 was slower than the 600's Don't know where he got to last year, obviously he is back now...I remember he had a few big prangs and took a while for him to get his confidence back....

    Awesome write-up.

Yeah don't know where he gets off giving your mate a rev up for what sounds like a typical racing incident. If you aren't prepared to go down then you shouldn't be out there.

Good stuff on the meet vtec. You going to be at manfeild or puke nats?

Hey guys, I understand why he was a bit nervous out there. His dad said he had had a few big prangs overseas and was just getting back into it. I like to tell all of what happened, but I didn't intend to put across that they were wrong to come have a chat. I think he's still just a wee bit nervous out there, and so was his dad watching. Racing is a high emotion thing, so you can't let minor disagreements tarnish the whole image of a person. I'm sure they are reasonable people just being protective.

And to K14, yep. Plans are to do both the Manfeild and Pukekohe nats. Should be good.

Photos... thanks to Keith Muir. No knee down ones like my mum took though :P But still they were a lot closer in. Respect.

Ahh here's an all important knee down pic

With Johnno (KickingZebra #132) and Sudeep (Motoracer #36) right on my tail. And after that one all the photos are from the final race, the invitational. Definitely my best most exciting race.

Gets exciting in this lot. Me tussling with Karl Morgan. Notice that little 125gp bike behind us. I'm pretty sure that it has a 450cc supermotard engine in it. Anyone confirm or deny? What a weapon.

On the program it's Brent Symes from Hastings on a RSF450. He's a weapon on whatever he rides! Although he did crash a different bike on turn one in another F3 race...gave me a hell of a fright! I will go and talk with him next time as I know what he looks like now, met him briefly at the end of prizegiving....he said the bike is standard apart from the brakes. I think he did mention an LC350 but I'm not even sure what one of those looks like.

Actually I'm not sure that is actually down. With the angle of the camera, positioned on a grassy knoll. . . Have to review my spy satellite photographs and conspiracy theory debunking manual.

Never mind, maybe some taller kneesliders are required

That 450 in the RS was well ridden, but that bike is screaming for a slipper clutch, into turn one he often had it looking quite untidy earlier in the day.

Oi you, my knee is most definitely on the ground in the pic with Johnno and Sudeep right up my arse. It's a right hand corner, for some reason I'm way more comfortable with right handers than left... strange.

I think that particular picture is probably best kept on a 'special interests' website.

Most people prefer left handers as on the road they are tighter, or Right handers for European/USA riders. After a while you can't tell the diff, maybe you focus closer on Left handers?, but I'm not about to tell you I'm qualified to be giving you advice if you are going well.

Going well, but well is not good enough. Have big improvements to make, and I think I know how to make many improvements. Some to do with the bike, but most to do with me.
