Awesome ride, bloody shagged by the end of the day! On the plus side no more chicken strips on my rear, so Im stoaked with that. Didnt have any close calls on any corners which also was a good thing.

I feel like Im just starting to master my beast.

Must do that route again. On the way back we turned right and went across the bridge at Dargiville. Some nice straights to really open it up.

    Perfect weather, riding and company!!!
My bass is such a slapper.......I cant stop fingering those strings

lol your more than welcome... I think I helped more with the distractions than the packing... Oh well You didn't kick me out so all good

I told Chucky about the "Chucky" thing and she's happy with that.... prefers it to barf lol

Yup, Gonna focus on some pillioning and hopefully I'll feel confident enough to bring chucky down with me... if all else fails I'll organise a ride and I'm sure someone will be happy to take her pillion

Thanks for the tips, hospitality and the sink... chucky apppreciates that

Hopefully we'll see you guys again soon, have fun moving and drive safe... and of course... post some pics of the new bike once you've given the dirty bitch a wash

Yeah the ride itself was great... not that I did the whole ride... The back road to Paparoa (thats it right?) following Chris had me being a bit of a nana, I thought I had done semi alright until we got there and I got the comment "Havn't ever riden that road so slow before" lol

But the rest of the ride out to Sharkys was great, had a stretch of about 3 corners (lol) following Keystone... very nice lines, until she took off and left me in the dust

Had a blast riding back to Whangarei on my own from Sharkys, No cops, open roads... can't complain...

Also not too bad a trip considering its the first time I rode up that far. Only did 582km's all up for the trip...
