    But as some semblance of sanity in this thread, can some one confirm whether Becks is in fact brewed in NZ? I know heineken, stella, tuborg etc are, but if Becks is then it's a new thing (and a baaad thing).

    It'd explain the price a bit, but have a taste of a stella versus one brewed in Belgium (or even the UK). FFS we don't even brew it to the same strength so how close is it supposed to taste. Arrgghhh rant rant rant don't mess with my beer man!
