    The Wii

Ok its actually gotten to the point that it pisses me off. buying a wii, doesnt make you break your TV!!
disclaimer: if your not intrested in game consoles stop reading and look elsewhere.

Well, I bought a Wii and I'd better be sure that I dont fling the shit out of my controller and accidentally break my TV??!?

Seriously, the strap is not designed to withstand the 3G forces from dickheads playing Wii-sports Bowling by spinning the controller around wildly by the strap.
I'm serious folks. I bought the Wii within 2 weeks of it coming out in NZ and ive had no end of people coming and saying ''Don't break your TV!!?!'' with all the story's about how the internet told them etc etc FUCK OFF! NO! the Wii controller has a limiter that doesn't accept anymore speed than a certain point so if your stupid enough to swing it at wild speeds and then LET GO then you deserve to loose your tv.
since the dawn of the best gaming control in the world (I AM biased I love my Wii and I don't have a ps3) there has been no end of reports of people apparently breaking their plasma''s by THROWING the controllers into them.
    ....
now I want you to take a deep breath

    Ahhhhhhh.. .
yes, so let me make a simple question. how many times, have you let go of your PS, PS2, Xbox, NES, SNES, GBA, GC OR WHATEVER! controller whilst in the middle of a game?????

lol! id love to know where they got the name for it.

and ive never let go of any game controller while playing. i do remember playing superfrog on the amiga and nearly falling out of the chair while leaning over to try and make him go the right direction though.

Until the Wii you wern't actually meant to swing the controller around.
Sure we all bounced around and moved aout alot when we got into playing the game but swinging the controller didn't affect the game so no point really.

Where as the Wii, that's the only attraction for anyody to that system. The graphics are shit really and from what I've seen the games are overly simplified. So I don't see it eing really fun to play unless drink and swinging shit around while drunk, something is gonna break.

When I used to have a PS2 I went through 4 controllers in a matter of months...

I have a bit of a temper when things don't go my way I think...

Just get an old TV, a plastic controller could NEVER shatter a tubed TV...

The Wii is great fun and the graphics are almost undistiguisable (sp??) from our Xbox 360 with the same game (need for speed)

I'm looking at the wii and the 360. Still deciding (while the price keeps droppin' )

the 360 has motogp on it, I wanna know if the wii is gonna get some good racing titles and bike games.

Had a few hours on the Wii, great fun! The graphics still dont live up to my high expectations... but then again no console ever has... PC's are far better!

Takes a bit of getting used to, and is surprisingly accurate. Playing a first person shooter and got into a sword fight, great fun! imagine you have a fricking sword in your hand and it happens on the screen! very clever!

I would hire it out again but would never buy a console. Just not worth the hassle of spending hundreds of dollars on all the games etc then the new one comes out and you start all over again!

I dont play games anymore... stopped playing computer games all the time when I left High school....

well I havnt played the wee machine, but I played counterstrike on the PC - This ghey awp haxer BOOM HS me for the 3rd time so i broke out the leet skill haxor 4.0 and he still was able to get a kife hs in, and I got so angry I picked the keybord up and started bashing my computer box with the it, I think the box won the fight, and my wallet lost.
Then I could get a Kb Tshirt, move to Timaru and become a full time crossdressing faggot
