There's only 1 room you need to remember:

Top floor, student union building (South block).

first of all, Drunken Monkey is living up to his name... thats the student bar

Arts 206 would be in the Arts building, on your map... Level 2, room 6... What do you know on the map, from there, I can guide you...

    Hi Dan,

THe ARTS building is on Symonds Street and is behind the 3 old style Politics buildings that are on the street front, there are pathways to get behind them, If walking down from Alfred St. and you hit the HSB building you have gone too far.

Room 206 I think is one level BELOW ground level so go down one flight of stairs. You should be able to find the ARTS building on the map you can download from the uni website. Follow this link http://www.auckland.ac.nz/uoa/about/.../home.cfm#City

    Good luck

    Thank you crashe....

This is a serious post though, I actually have great dificulty getting to the city campus. Lucky for me I have only needed to go to the clock tower place 2-3 times and once I had to find the SJS office... that took me 3 hours to find!

I can find anyplace in the Epsom campas though!! Nice and small and easy to find there!

Hate the city campus! Its too big!!

I need to find the ARTs block? is there only one? Where is ARTS 206????

    yeee gads man.

    1. Park on Alfred Street.
    2. Walk down Alfred Street, and cross Symonds Street (according to your map, to Commerce C)
    3. Once across, there will be a little paved section, walk to that, and go to the left, and you will find stairs going down.
    4. Take them, and at the bottom, go left.
    5. You will walk under a walkway. Stop.
    6. Turn to your right, and notice a door near you (not the one leading into the building)
    7. Take the small door, it only has a set of stairs behind it.
    8. This will put you on level 2, from there, you need to locate room 6. All rooms have numbers on them, and funnily enough, numbered consecutively.

    Hows that?

edit...there is hidden bike parking off wynard street, which can be only accessed from the north end, via Alten Rd
edit2 there is no official bike parking right outside clocktower, unless that has changed

    First - don't panic

Also at the start of the year their are usually a load of helpers wandering around with "Ask me" shirts on that you can stop and ask for directions.

You will be fine just arive at Uni in plenty of time to have a look. Honestly it's not too hard.
