    Leaking float bowl drain screw

As per previous post, just written off my Gixxer.
Before draining fuel etc for storage want to make sure she fires up ok.

Cranks over ok, but not firing.

Checked fuel in carbs by lossening drain screw for one of the carbs, but now the da*n thing is weeping fuel...

    Any tips on curing?

Do I need thread sealant/lock on the thread?

Usually they are like a tapered seal so maybe its got crud on it. Take it right out, clean it up and try again. Shouldn't need sealing on the thread but that would be a way to cure it if nothing else works.
    Cheers
