    Chronicles of Riddick

Seen it. (Don't ask) and although it's nowhere near Pitch Black, it's not a bad flick.

The special effects are pretty cool in places and Vin Diesel is a cool tough guy, if not a particularly inspiring actor.

There's also some really cool Shakespearian bits in it.

If you like Startrek type battles with the Borg, you'll enjoy the story.

And that skin head girl from Pitch Black, she's worth seeing the movie for now she's all grown up.

    As a sequel to Pitch Black, it's a 2 outta 5.

By itself, 3.5. Worth a look.

The trailer made it look like a good old 'wander into the theatre slightly pissed and root for the good guy' flick.

I doubt it'll be on the list to take Mrs Random to during our precious free evenings, though. Although if Vin Diesel gets his kit off she could probably be persuaded...

I just have to hear that deep & growly voice & I'm goin' weak at the knees. Pity he's such a crap actor.
My goal in life is to be as good a person as my dog already thinks I am.
