    Rear shock adjustment guidelines

Well, I just found out the rear shock on my bandit is adjustable... i'm just wondering if 'rule of thumb' behaviour to shock adjustment, i.e if it's too hard you can expect 'x' or if its too soft you can expect 'y'?

    Info appreciated
