I was right behind her and she seemed to be a bit confused by it all... Never mind, I'm sure her mind was on where she was going and she was well aware of the bikes around her...

Just saw on Close-up that the Transit Sandle-wearing Red-Tapers have backed down on their stand over next years run...

They said "It was so well organised with supervision by police"

So a bit of TV coverage has saved what would have been the stupidest decsion of the year so far by the spoil-sports in Wellington...

    YAY!!!!
I used to be indecisive, but now I'm not so sure...

great ride,, faster than i thought,, think the cops were out in front and set the speed,, they enjoyed it as much as everyone, always wanted to blast down the motorway ,with not having to worry about cars...met a few KBers. was there only 1500..riders..seemed a lot more than that..bit hard to judge...hope we can do it next year..anyone up 4 the toy run??...Ride Safe...KEV

Sell off his bike, cos he wont notice it missing in the garage..... and then you can get two bikes....... a little one for him and a big one for you......

thats the way it tends to work on a lot of group rides. any ride ive gone on, ive been told to stay near the front, cos the speed will be slower. but i always end up right at the back, doing a high speed to keep up. the tail section always goes faster.
as it was, there apparently was a huge gap...the group split in half somehow.

i dunno how fast disco was going...his speedos in mph and i couldnt read it.
