    Dear Simon Gotlieb,

    Thank you for your email.

Sky will have Superbikes for 2007 with our first coverage next month with both races Live from Qatar and other races Live where possible. The Moto GP is yet to be confirmed who will have rights for 2007 and at present cannot confirm if Sky TV will have broadcasting rights as well.

    Kind regards,

Yeah, I got a carbon copy. Ronely Langi (or is that - 'Lonely Rangi'? wrote: "The Moto GP is yet to be confirmed who will have rights for 2007 and at present cannot confirm if Sky TV will have broadcasting rights as well."

It sounds like a bit of a cop out and implying that SKY may not be able to get MotoGP - rather than SKY not wanting to get MotoGP? They get Poker Ok though..........

Great by those who have put a bit of pressure on SKY!!

Yeah the bastards just sitting there sending template e mails out, more like what I do at work dooooh lolz.

Any nerds here who know how e mail bombs work and can generate like 5 e mails a day all with different address but from the same inbox and automatically send it to SKY for the next month everyday?

I know how it's done manually and how it works but there must be a automated programme which does that shit man !!

    brings back memories

of when i was complaining about the lack of AMA mx on Sky. They replied to me that they have only had 200 emails, and considered it a small audience. But what does 200 times sixty something dollars per month bring them? Cant understand there way of thinking. They would prefer to show the Nascar that doesn't even have a single Kiwi motorsports person in it! Hence i ditched Sky. I download all my World MX now, and am hoping the yanks will catch on to this service

Wow, 200 is a lot - as you would have to mutiply that by something like 100! For every one person who wrote, there would be 99 who would watch but couldn't get be bothered to get off their arse to do something about it.

Doubt if they would have 200 of us writing to them and whingeing about, no MotoGP on SKY.

So if MotoGP isnt aired what am I going to eat my pop-corn over? And what reason can I come up with to stay up till 4am? And what reason can DMNTD come up with for another night on the couch? (self appointed I might add).

Perfection is not something you should ever attain, but something to always strive for. For if we actually achieve our idea of perfection, is it then any longer perfect?

As it's pretty bloody likely that we will NOT get live or delayed MotoGP coverage - can any one tell me how to get it live from the MotoGP Website http://www.motogp.com/en/motogp/moto...=live_coverage

    My last efforts were crap.

I'm quite happy getting MotoGP on Prime. That way I don't have to pay for three Sky channels of Rugby just to see two hours of real sport.

Yeah but Sky owns Prime now, so if Sky don't have the rights, they won't be showing it on Prime. And if somehow MotoGP got really popular, then they wouldnt show it on Prime anyway, but put it on one of the pay channels.

We ditched Sky just over a year ago, (found out we were paying for an unasked for Arts Channel). Haven't missed it at all.

while your at it can you spam the world super bike website http://www.worldsbk.com/ its got to be the most pathetic website there is, with no photos/videos/ info and if you want live coverage good luck..... at least the moto gp website lets you watch it live and keeps you up to date ..

I wish that you just may be right BUT I don't think you'll be getting MotoGP on Prime. Since Prime was bought out by the MIGHTY SKY that went down the gurgler. Poker yeah - but no MotoGP???

    This SHOULD BE an outrage.
Is it worth a motorcycle demo down the main streets of New Zealand on a certain day if this is indeed confirmed?
1000's of bikes/bikers on the news in cities and towns around NZ saying "SKY show MotoGP"

or should we all just get really interested in Poker...?
"...New Zealanders, for all their faults, have virtues that are precious: an unwillingness to be intimidated by the new, the formidable, or class systems; trust in situations where there would otherwise be none; compassion for the underdog; a sense of responsibility for people in difficulty; not undertaking to do something without seeing it through - "

We can stop moaning, here's the email I received from Sky this morning and it's a little different to the ones you guys have posted -

SKY Sports has secured the rights to the MotoGP, the coverage will be starting in March however as a schedule is yet to be confirmed please see the Skywatch magazine or our website closer to the time as schedule details will be available once confirmed.

    Kind Regards
