Agreed. Some of the "Online Quote" thingies you fill out don't even ask the CC rating, and I think usually only the excess is affected by your license type or age.

In addition to cc - I'm 48 and when I insured my 1100 it was hit with a $1500 excess, but the 750 attracts $500...

I've seriously considered buying it back. I love that bike. It took me everywhere was heaps of fun. But, alas, the funds are not there. Maybe I will get the chance next time it comes up for sale.

Yeah, that's what I'm hoping. I'm not getting any younger and out and out power or speed is not really my bag. Seem the torquey by underpowered SS Ducati range is perfect for me.
