There was a "comfort" option that came out for the 06's, I've heard a rumour that they might fit on the 04-05's. If they do, then I'd investigate that option as the standard seat will have your pillion in agony within an hours riding. They really are appalling, no padding, very small in size, and the pegs are very high. So unless you are doubling a midget with a gel filled arse (this is the bit where Dover chimes in with some comment about Finn and a butt plug), forget about anything more than a quick trip down to the shops.

    Appreciate the advice mate
We'd be happy with a scruffy looking, partially damaged pillion seat...infact we'd prefer it so we could have it recovered/re-padded ??? as there would be a pillion on board often anyway.
Oh...the new seats were the price of a cheap car

The only pillion seat I have purchased so far was for the TLR, that was around $220 I think new from Colemans. What was the price you were given for the 'prilia? Must have been heaps if its cheaper to buy a second hand one and get it recovered!

Ouchy, remind me not to loose mine then . . .

Still, any negative thoughts of money go out the window as you gaze adoringly at your beloved, does it not? (If your missus reads this, then of course it's her that I'm talking about, not the bike . . . ahem.)

I have had my pillian seat recovered and padded out a bit for Rach.
But the thing that really kills her if she has to be on the back for any period of time is the high pegs. Though it is good flexability training, she can almost get her feet behind her head again now

The worst part is that it's probably true
