    an unreal world scenario eh?!

a $40k bike is one heluva thang

how about $39.5k for the bike and $500 for a shitbox tintop so you can drive to the bike dealer when the Eyetalian Stallion breaks down?

What a choice! I can't ride for shit, so a $40,000 superbike would be wasted on me. But a car that nice would sure carry a lot of groceries, let alone pull the laydees.
So I'd have a perfectly sensible cheap $2000 motorbike and the fancy fancy car.

How fucking impractical would that thing be? That is obviously not the std car, there is no where you could drive it except the track with the depth of that chin spoiler.

It looks like arse, too. I'm sorry, but Americans just don't know how to make stylish automobiles. Now if we were talking about an E-type or 250GTO then I might consider giving up motorcycling for a wee bit

I rode through the 70's, 80's 90's and am still riding. Started at 17 on a KH 250 and rode most makes and sizes.
If you have to think about the answer, well.. unfortunately your not the type of person I need to meet.
Never owned a car, why would I want to?
If your starting out, in 10 years you might be able to call yourself a biker. Depends on the experiences you've had and the passion you still feel.
It's either in your bones or it's not. Like the cold on an early morning winters ride (do you love it or just want the ride to end so you can get warm?).
