Any idea of how much the iPod touch will cost?

I picked one up yesterday and it works great. I'm waiting for my new Mac to arrive before I try connecting it. Don't want to try it on my PC - kinda like sleeping with your sister...

Okay, so who's the resident iPhone expert? I have a question about updating and locking etc, etc...

Don't upgrade to 1.1.1 just yet .. it can be done, but its tricky

I'll wait until I have my new Mac, but when I do connect it and upgrade, will it lock. If so, can it be unlocked?

I've got 1.0.2 by the way...

you can connect to yer mac, and when it ask to upgrade .. just say "no thanks"

You will still be able to sync with mail.app address book, iTunes, etc etc

Just don't upgrade, otherwise you'll end up with an iBrick

I'm going to give this: http://hackint0sh.org/forum/showthread.php?t=12863 a crack tonight

Cool. Let me know how you get on...

The only trouble I'm having is connecting to Wireless. I got close to smashing things last night.

It's not all bad! They're going to open it up to developers soon. Ok, sometime. Maybe in Q2 next year. If they can figure out how to secure it. Hopefully.

Considering an iPhone costs more than your bike (and is probably faster), I think you're just jealous.
