I am keen but have to suggest Kaiwharawhara indoor Go Karting.

Took a group to Daytona and they were real anal and kept slowing us down.

There was some close racing with no contact but they were not happy about that and were trigger happy on the remote slow button.

Have done the same at Kaiwharawhara and they were great. They could handle tight racing and the odd nudge.

For a group like this I think Kaiwharawhara would be best. AND both have let me use my own helmet...

    My 10c worth (inflation)

I was thinking the one in Seaview, but we could go to the Kaiwharawhara (Old Hutt Road) one.

    See below.

    Thanks Freakshow.

Just gave them a call and they said they are fine for us to race tomorrow afternoon, looks to be a bit cheaper as well.

    http://www.karting.co.nz/

    Casual Practice Sessions:
    $15.00 – 10 minutes
    $20.00 – 15 minutes
    $25.00 – 20 minutes
    $30.00 – 30 minutes

But someone who is 8 years old needs to be 1.2m high. Ronin, is you son 1.2m?

Sorry, been out walking said child and dog.

Yeah, he's over that easy. Would that mean he was on track with us?

Yep, if we go with the Kaiwharawhara place he can race with us, its a bit cheaper and they don't need us to book so sounds good to me.

    So how does 2.30 sound?

    So far we have:

We're back to work next week, was suggesting something to alleviate our boredom for this week. Are you going to lunch it with us at The Black Harp Wasp? Cause we can always take you with us from there if you want.

Right. Having checked the finances, I can go karting (ohhh pun) but not make the lunch. 2:30 on the old hutt rd?

Wasp. I see your in Lower Hutt. If you are not going to the lunch I could pick you up and drop you off.

Bikers in miniature cages, on a track. Hmmmmmmm

just realised it doesnt matter - im at work this week (here right now...) and if the boss wont let me have time off to go get the bike i dont think she'll let me have lunch or go go-karting

im out , was thinking of organising this anyway but was thinking it would be a day after work

Ok, sorry for the confusion with times. We were looking for something to do during the next couple of days while we are on holiday.

2.30 tomorrow it is (I will edit first post)
If anyone wants to and can attend please fell free.

Wasp, more than keen for an after work session some time as well. Happy for you to start a thread for that.
