Any one in Christchurch want to say hi?

I first posted ages ago when we were think about moving here, however we now have moved here, the bikes are registered on the road, but we have no one to ride with. We are near Little river and both have bikes (SV650SK3)
so if anyone want to say hi please drop me a line.

Oops I have just looked at my history, and I had forgotten I had posted a similar thread up months ago, but that was back when we were living in a tent and only had internet access at the library (that and no bikes had arrived)
so apologies for repeating this thread - but hi to anyone who wants to say hi

ah well, guess thats what happens when you hit a certain age,you start repeating yourself

Welcome to the chch chapter of KB! I'm sure we will catch you around, just check out the rides/events area for rides...we often head over to akaroa for a wee blat most weekends. Me on a black, orange/white Buell and Dangerous on a V11 Moto guzzi, Thunder on his Tuono and SuziQ on her Suzuki GSR

A few of us are off to glenorchy this weekend, for a sweet wee rally, and a bloody nice ride down there... cant wait!

I am sometimes on the road on a green KR-250 when it's going.

Will be keen to go for a ride sometime!

ah rallies, something else we need to find out about here.
I guess they take the same form as UK ones - over load your bike, ride there, get pissed, pretend to enjoy listening to the bandm talk drivel to your mates, buy crap from the stalls, survive off really bad food for the weekend, then ride home on the sunday

Hi you forgot to add, "and go to work for rest on Monday".

SDU and I sometimes just ride to and from Little River on a Sunday between her shifts, 12:00-4:30ish.
So if you see a Black and Silver Moto Guzzi V11 Sports, at the Cafe just past the main tin shed one, about I guess 1-1:30ish that will be us, say Hi.

Wow, you have some great roads right at your backdoor! I'm over that way at least once a week, do night rides to Akaroa regularly.
