Thanks a lot, I wonder what is in the water over there. My two favorite motorcycle stories come from your homeland. Burt Monroe and John Britten. Just an amazing bike and story. I just wonder where the bikes would be today had he not been taken before his time. Thanks again.

Thanks, I have a hard believing he would not have continued developing the bike, I actually do have a Yamaha. My current bikes are kind of ragged 89zx10/89fzr1000/98cbr900

Welcome to the site Awesome bike... John Britten was amazing, so sad he was taken so young, he would have done amazing things.

    Welcome to Kiwibiker, jwfzr.
Damn nice work! How long did it take to paint that?

I was drooling over the Britten in Wellington last week. It is honestly one of those things that you can stand and look at for hours!

Very nice work jfzwr. A Kiwi mate of mine saw the history of motorcycles exhibition at the Guggenheim in NY a few years back and at the very top of the exhibits on the spiral was the Britten!

I've had the privelege of seeing and hearing it on the track several times and have the famous video of its development and race history.

    Cool welcome

    Welcome to KB

    Cool art work.
Was it done from a photo or have you seen the real thing? How big is it ? Oils / water color ? How long to paint ? Is it your living or a hobby ?
