    Screen for V Star

Hi, I am considering getting a screen for my VStar.

Don't want a big one, too ugly. Maybe an 18" or 20" would be ok. Any ideas. Do they work? Are they a waste of money?

    Cheers.

Screens are a great idea for any bike. After much trial and error with Mrs H's crusier (a VZ800K4 Marauder), she has settled on the Givi AeroTech. It's bar-mounted and, unlike most of the "cruiser" screens, turns air over and around the rider without unnecessarily obstructing forward vision or acting like a fucking great sail in the wind. The Givi isn't that expensive either and, if you don't like it, could be unsold to owners of a range of other bike types who are looking for a bit of wind and weather protection.

Thanks for that Hitcher. Any idea where I might be able to find one, bearing in mind my location.

    Cheers

New Plymouth Motorcycle Centre or the new Yamaha place next to super cheap would be my first point of call.

    Thanks.

Will check both of them out again.

Any idea what a reasonable cost might be?

    About $150, plus or minus.
