    Cirque Du Soliel - Review

Having just got back from seeing the performance of Cirque Du Soliel's Varekai, all I can say is that anyone who is able to, should try get tickets. It is without a doubt the most amazing performance I have seen.

The stunts, dance, colour and humour is just brilliant. (plus there are some sexy looking girls!)

There are guys being flung through the air, some mad juggling skills, people with amazingly supple bodies and some demonstrations of amazing strength (like jumping 7 or 8m and landing onto another persons hands etc.. The whole thing is very mentally stimulating

I am not someone into dance, ballet or anything like that, but this was just purely amazing. If I could get tickets, i would go again.

Big Ups, I wish I had seen the early performances before this one.

Thanks for the review - I'm being dragged along the week after next, sounds fantastic. Did you park right at the performance venue? Jimmy B from this site says getting out can be an issue sometimes.

And the bastards only do Auckland, I went to a similar sort of performance by Cirque Dreams a couple of years ago and it was fantastic and Cirque de Soliel is meant to bigger and better

Not meaning to be disrespectful or anything, but I've always thought that these froggy circ de soolay shows look like the ponciest things this side of grey lynn.

A lady friend (I said friend, not boy) is trying to drag me along and I said two words, one of which is get - but is it really ok? Should I play the "sacrifice" card so we can then do some guy stuff? Seriously?

I went to the one last year, it was flippin fantastic. On the strength of that we are going tonight. Brett, glad to hear that the new show sounds just as good as the last.

Blackbird that was indeed the case last year, that was a friday night and of course being Auckland it was raining ever so slightly. We Taxi'd last year and getting one at the end of the show was survival of the fittest. This year Mrs JB is preggers so will drive to Manukau road, have dinner and walk from there. Will check out the arrangements and let you know.
