    David Beckham

Is going to play for someone called the LA Galaxy. Now, clearly Mr Beckham is heading towards the twilight of his career but will still be a fairly pricey proposition. How much do you think he's getting paid? Go on, guess.

A MILLION DOLLARS A WEEK. A MILLION US DOLLARS A WEEK

Or a quick quarter billion for a five year tour of duty. Oh ... my ... god

Good on him. I wish I could negotiate that sort of contract.
And I to my motorcycle parked like the soul of the junkyard. Restored, a bicycle fleshed with power, and tore off. Up Highway 106 continually drunk on the wind in my mouth. Wringing the handlebar for speed, wild to be wreckage forever.
