This ride is a start to harden up for longer overnighters.
500k at a cruisy pace with a stopover at Manfeild to view afternoon events at the track day. Leave from the Elephant Pond car park at 8.00am and head across to the Wairarapa. Route includes: Martinborough, Gladstone, Masterton (fuel up), scenic via - Alfredton, Pongaroa, Weber to Dannevirke, HW2 to Woodville, Saddle Road to Ashhurst and on to Feilding and Manfield, stop for a while (1.30 - 3.30pm), Palmerston Nth, Pahiatua (via Pahiatua Track) and HW2 over the hill and back home.
This is a legal speed ride with plenty of short stops. So far Mustang (HD Fatboy) and dennisr are going. A few more would add to the day. PM me if interested.
