in same boat,just got back into bikes after 20 odd year absence,Iam a Scot who has lived in Tasmania the last 18 years, love New Zealand ,most spectacular country I,ve visited,specially the South Island,s south and West coast, want to do it on a bike ,riding a Kwaka kle500 for now,good clean fun!Anyone know the procedure for taking abike to New Zealand from Oz,and getting it back? Any advice appreciated.

Hi tassiebhoy - next time you're in the region (NZ North Is) look us up - be good to have a ride. Not sure how the procedure works - Hope someone can help. Mind you it may cost more than simply hiring a similar bike - I know it's not quite the same though.
