China South becomes “world's largest motorcycle producer”

China South – a state-owned enterprise of the Chinese government – claims it is now the largest producer of motorcycles in the world.

The company – which features brands such as Jialing, Jianshe, Dayang and Jinan Qingqi – claims an output of some five million units per annum, which are sold in over 100 countries, generating sales revenue and asset value in excess of US$12 billion.

    Continued from above...
China South production manager Zhi Chang said the company's success was in no small part due to cooperation with China's prison system, where people who protested against central government or promoted Tibetan independence were imprisoned and forced to work on the motorcycle assembly line.
"Our slaves are amongst the happiest in the world." he said.
When faced with protests from Amnesty International, Zhi Chang replied the workers had a choice and were not compelled to work.
"They can work and be happy, or we remove their organs and sell them on the free market."

Or, as a final deterrent, all dissidents are made to test ride the machines they produce. So far no-one has suffered this fate. They all prefer to have their organs removed, which is why all test riding and fault finding is left to the consumer. We find this is the best, and cheapest, option.
