    For Inline + Mrs Inline

Chatted to Speedygirl, and I was going to wait till Monday, but as they say, sooner the better.

I was thinking of organising a bit of a money pool that we can do to help Inline and Mrs Inline for the future. Im in for $50. From what Ive heard, there is going to be a long road to travel and from previous experience, I can say it can be a lonely one.

I have nothing witty or personal to say about Inlines injuries other than it shocked me to hear at happened. Regardless of never having met the guy in the flesh, I have chatted to him a variety of times and I felt absolutly gutted to hear it happened to such a nice guy.

Ways of donating are yet to be decided, but I was thinking of opening a separate bank account and making the number availible for those that wish to deposit something to help out. Anyone with any better ideas?

    Update
Bank Details for those that wanted them.

I'm in. I bought my CB400 off John and it wasn't immaculate just like he said, but geez it was fun. Bit like him really.

Sniper, that is a really good idea, travel and stuff can be expensive..

perhaps one of teh CHCH moderators (If there is one) would step up to facilitate this?

Let us know the details when in place.

    Cheers

Hey sniper not a hijack, but for those in Auckland I am putting together a 'care package' for John to be sent down on Friday 10/11/06, some ideas are audio books, puzzles, small things etc, be careful not to overload John or the staff.
He cannot hold normal books or mags at present so think about what you want to send, PM me for details.
I would be up for contributing to the fund also, keep me informed.

I'll set up an account and post up the details on Monday. You dont need to attach anything to the deposit so you can remain as anynomous as you like.

Mack thats a brilliant idea and I sure as heck dont mind offerings of help on this thread

If its feasible. Could a moderator make this a sticky for however long?

Im open to ideas. I would prefer just Donna and John to have total access, but that would mean they would have to open the account wouldnt they?

Could I open up an account and give them the only access or make it an internet access only and give them the details?

(I havent opened a bank account since I was 16 so Im not 100%)
