    Nasal grooming.

I have found that, as I get on in tears years, it is becoming more and more difficult to culture, contain or coifure the hairs that have decided to grow from my nasal passages. Being not particularly hirsute, this has become more than an annoyance - appearing to pick ones nose, while attempting ease irritation is not all that glamorous! The question I have is quite simple, what is the best method to deal with the aforementioned?
Plucking - That raises a tear to ones eye at the best of times.
Mechanical shortening - nose hair trimmers, Hmm not sold on that idea. Then there's regrowth and cut hair ends (nose stubble!)
Hair removal creams?? God, I shudder to think!
Staying Feral - learn to live with the irritation.

Bearing all this in mind lets not mention 'other' areas that seem to have taken it upon themselves to compete at hair growth with my nasal appendage. Your advise and experiences are greatly appreciated...

::Edit:: Tips for 'other' areas of hair removal would be good too...

Make a statement and plait it.
Experience is something you don't get until just after you need it.

A good WAXING should sort you out, only real men can handle it so you may have trouble. I saw an ad the other day for back, crack 'n' sack just $80, with a free stick to chew on.
Normal sized folk often just use nail scissors on the nasal hair so you might like to try some garden shears.
Failing that just stop shaving everything and go 'naturel'

There's some urban myth (or is it..... ) that says plucking nose hairs can cause tumors or heart attacks or something.....

If you love it, let it go. If it comes back to you, you've just high-sided!

a noosel trimmer is the way forward, either that or grow a moustache and encourage the nose hair to join the ranks of your feltrum fungus.

I hear that plucking leads to infections in the empty hair folicles that are left behind...there is a crapload of bacteria in the exposed part of the inside of your nose.

Nail scissors (wish I had the ones with the rounded ends designed for nose trimming) seem to work best...with a half hearted attempt at steralising them by running them under a hot tap first.

The nose trimmers seem bloody useless

The deeper ones aren't so painful by yanking on them although Mrs B thinks it's a disgusting practice. Not keen to yank out the ones towards the front for the reasons you mention but the careful application of the good ol' Gillette Mach 3 does a pretty good job.

So it's not just our better halves who take pride in their appearance then, hehe. Mind you, Scummy and his Hardly Ableson-owning mates would never 'fess up to doing it. The application of Blue Stratos to their hirsute cheeks would be the ultimate in male groming

I use nose sisscors (or are they toe nail ones, ahwell) and trim it that way, or i just pull some out when i'm bored and have mined all the boggers from my nose.

    I'm with Pixie, burn em!!!
You could try bleach also, although long white nose hair isn't too attractive either, a bit like ear hair and 'old man eyebrow', those long wayward hairs that almost hang in the eyes of elderly gents.
